Gospel Artiste Emmanuel Alagao, aka Logo, Loses Wife

Nigerian gospel singer Emmanuel Alaogo, popularly known as Logo, has lost his young wife, who die during childbirth.

An exceptional Abuja-based songwriter, performer, guitarist and his spouse married only last year to face the terrible tragedy, which hit the family end of August, Leadership reports.
A source close to the artiste disclosed that the spouse had passed away August 21, after a cesarean section. The relatives, friends and artiste’s fans from different parts of the country attended the burial ceremony to pay tribute and last respect to the young woman.
According to the musician’s friend, “things have not been the same with Logo since the death of his wife because they are just a young couple. He really loved her; they were very close. We can only pray that God gives him the strength to overcome this temptation in Jesus name.”
Logo gained national popularity after singing the hit “Anya Wune Wune”. In the last year’s interview with AllAfrica.com Logo thanked God for this song and confessed that he “got the inspiration in a bus.  I was sitting and it came.”
