Former Attorney general of Lagos State, Yemi Osinbajo have
visited Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu today’s afternoon to express his
appreciation to him for stepping down as running mate to the
presidential aspirant on the platform of All Progressive Congress
General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd).
After visit to Tinubu he settled down to draft
his acceptance speech.
The short ceremony featured party leaders at the APC secretariat in Abuja today.
One-week intrigue finished today, December 17th, when General Buhari presented Yemi Osinbajo as his running mate for the 2015 presidential election.
The issue of who becomes Buhari’s running mate has caused quite a stir. It was previously reported that it was tearing the party apart as the APC governors and Tinubu were believed to be at loggerheads over the choice of Buhari’s running mate.
Former Lagos state governor has recently disclosed the reason why he withdrew his candidacy for the position of running mate with Buhari for the presidential ticket.
